Terms & Conditions

Last reviewed: 28 October 2026

1. Website use

This website provides general information about International Trade Solutions, our trade-related focus areas and how to contact us. You may use it for lawful personal and business purposes. You must not interfere with its security, misuse forms or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems.

2. Information is not an offer

Content, images, industry examples and descriptions on this website are general and illustrative. They do not constitute a binding quotation, product availability confirmation, price list, promise of delivery or offer to sell. Any commercial transaction is subject to individual written agreement and any mandatory legal rights.

3. Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry does not create a supply agreement. Quotations, if issued, should clearly identify the contracting parties, product specifications, quantities, pricing, applicable taxes, currency, payment arrangements, logistics, delivery terms and any expiry date. An order is accepted only when explicitly confirmed through the applicable business process.

4. Supply and delivery

Lead times, destination requirements, shipping methods, responsibilities and handover procedures must be agreed for each transaction. Cross-border transactions may require customs, tax, licensing and documentation arrangements. Neither indicative website content nor preliminary correspondence overrides agreed terms or mandatory law.

5. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Returns and refunds depend on the nature of the goods, the transaction and applicable legislation, including the South African Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act where they apply. These terms do not remove statutory rights.

  • Incorrect, damaged or defective goods: Notify the relevant contracting party as promptly as reasonably possible, provide the order reference and supporting details, and follow the agreed inspection or returns process without prejudice to applicable legal remedies.
  • Change-of-mind requests: These depend on the product, nature of sale and applicable consumer rights. Relevant qualifying electronic consumer transactions may carry statutory cooling-off rights.
  • Business-to-business or bespoke goods: The agreed transaction terms and applicable law govern, and some consumer protections may not apply to every type of buyer or transaction.
  • Refund timing and return logistics: These should be explained in the relevant transaction documents and must meet applicable legal requirements.

Contact us via the Contact Us page and provide your order or quotation reference if you need assistance.

6. Warranties and product information

Product descriptions, handling instructions and any manufacturer warranties should be confirmed in transaction documentation. Nothing on this website excludes warranties, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Intellectual property

Except where otherwise indicated, the International Trade Solutions name, website presentation, original text, graphics and other materials may be protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce them commercially without the rights-holder's permission. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Website availability and external links

We aim to maintain accurate, useful content but cannot guarantee uninterrupted website availability or that every page is error-free. External sites are operated independently and are governed by their own terms.

9. Liability and mandatory rights

To the extent the law permits, website information is supplied for general guidance without a guarantee that it will meet every particular need. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, including protections under applicable consumer legislation.

10. Privacy

Information submitted through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

South African law is the intended reference point for these general website terms, subject to applicable mandatory laws and the specific governing law agreed for any commercial transaction. Parties should first seek to resolve disputes through direct communication before pursuing available formal remedies.

12. Contact and changes

Questions about these terms or possible transactions can be submitted through our contact form. These website terms may be revised; check the review date for the latest version.
